17 from PM to perform in county orchestra festival

Seventeen Penn Manor students have been selected to perform in the Lancaster-Lebanon Music Educators Association County Orchestra Festival Feb. 21.

Participating students will include:

Penn Manor High School: Lavinia Hess, Caleb Bye and Christine Bye, violin; Olivea Norris, viola; Caleb Breidenbaugh, timpani; Emily Thyrum, flute/piccolo; and Allison Ulaky, oboe

Marticville Middle School: Hailey Fafel and Gabby Bitts, violin; and Nolan Stauffer and Aaron Yoder, bass

Manor Middle School: Collin Lively and Jeanelle Torres, violin; Jessica Markward and Amanda Weaver, viola; and Emily Sensenich and Erin deVitry, cello.

Congratulations to these outstanding musicians!

The festival will be held at 5 p.m. Feb. 21 at Manheim Township High School. Conductors will include Sara Masten, Penn Manor orchestra director.
