Volunteers need for HS STEM Summit Dec. 11-12

Turkey Trot run to be held on Thanksgiving, Nov. 22

The 46th Annual Turkey Trot run will be held on Thanksgiving morning, Nov. 22, with a 5K run/walk at 9 a.m. and a 1K Children’s Fun Run at 8:30 a.m. Participants are asked to bring non-perishable foods to donate to local food banks.  More details:

FFA Alumni group hosts information session, dinner Nov. 8

The Manor FFA Alumni group will host a rally on Thursday, Nov. 8, at 6 p.m. in the Penn Manor High School cafeteria. Attendees will learn about the alumni organization and Manor FFA and hear updates on the high school project and how the ag department will be affected. A design professional and district superintendent Mike Leichliter will be on hand to answer questions. The event will include a light meal. Parent Resources Fair Nov. 14 for Penn Manor families

Penn Manor is hosting a Parent Resources Fair from 10 a.m. to noon Nov. 14 at Millersville Brethren in Christ Church gymnasium. More than 25 local social service organizations will be on hand to share resources with parents in need of health care, job training, GED instruction, child care, financial counseling and other services. Representatives of Hempfield, Columbia and Lampeter-Strasburg school districts have been invited to attend.

Wrestling Club registrations under way

Volunteers needed for Hambright food recovery program

Volunteers are needed to help with the cafeteria food recovery program at Hambright ES. Uneaten packaged food is collected during lunch and donated to the Power Packs program, which supplies food to families in need. Contact Marsha, at 717-587-1912 or at
