Trunk or Treat October 26 in John Herr’s parking lot

A free Trunk or Treat event, featuring candy, other treats and games, will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. October 26 in the parking lot of John Herr’s Village Market, 25 Manor Ave., Millersville. The event is sponsored by the Millersville Lioness Lions Club.

Saturday in the Park to be held Sept. 14 in Millersville

Saturday in the Park, a free event featuring games, food, and entertainment, will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, September 14 at Freedom Memorial Park in Millersville. More information.

Registrations open for Outpour Kids Worship Choirs

Registrations are being accepted for the Outpour Kids/Outpour Teens Worship Choir program, sponsored by Grace Community Church for children in grades K-8. Rehearsals begin October 3, and the performance is November 22. More information.

Bible2School program offered at Penn Manor elementary schools

Bible2School is accepting registrations for Penn Manor students in grades 2, 3 and 4 to attend free elective Bible classes during the school day. The students are bused to a nearby church, where  volunteers engage them in worship and Bible stories. Bible2School details and registration information

Girls on the Run program offered at Letort, Martic, Central Manor and Eshleman

Girls on the Run is a nonprofit program that combines training for a 5K with lessons that inspire girls to make healthy choices and develop life skills. GOTR is open to girls in grades 3 through 5. Girls on the Run registration information
