Employee Clearance Instructions

Act 150 of 2015 requires ALL prospective employees, current employees, independent contractors and volunteers to get and renew criminal background checks (both Pennsylvania State Police as well as FBI) and child abuse clearances on a five-year cycle.  More information about the application process for these clearances is available here:

Prospective Teacher Substitutes Act 86 of 2016

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Pennsylvania approved college or university teacher preparation program.
  • Must have a minimum of 60 semester hours or equivalent.
  • May teach a maximum of a maximum of 20 days per year.
  • Meet requirements of Section 111, 111.1 and 1109 of the School Code related to clearances and moral character.

Academic Support – Enrollment Related Aide – Martic Elementary

Penn Manor School District has an opening for a part-time, 5 hours per day, 10:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Academic Support Aide, needed to assist in the classrooms and/or building.  Duties may  include:  providing academic support to teachers and staff, assisting in all areas of the building to enforce school policy, ensuring a safe and orderly setting for the students, maintaining strict confidentiality with respect to information concerning students, personnel and other administrative matters affecting the district.  Qualifications include:  High School diploma or equivalent required, Paraprofessional training preferred.
