New! – The state of Pennsylvania has initiated a  vendor change in the FBI fingerprint process. The new vendor is IdentoGo. Please review the Clearance Instructions below before you attempt to obtain your FBI Fingerprints.

Act 150 of 2015 requires ALL prospective employees, current employees, independent contractors and volunteers to get and renew criminal background checks (both Pennsylvania State Police as well as FBI) and child abuse clearances on a five-year cycle.  More information about the application process for these clearances is available here:

Secretary to High School Principal

Penn Manor School District has an opening for a full-time Secretary position to provide clerical support to the High School Principal in a manner that is professional, diplomatic, and complies with confidentiality requirements.

Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 7:15 a.m. – 3:45 p.m, 12 month position

High school diploma or equivalent with courses in general office procedure; or an acceptable combination of education and experience is required.  Experience in providing excellent customer service, including sound communication (oral and writing) and detail management skills is required.  Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with current office procedures and practices including business writing, proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, public relations, and telephone etiquette. Strong proofreading skills are required.

Full Time Custodians

Penn Manor School District has several job opportunities for full-time, 2nd shift custodians. Under the supervision of the Head Custodian, this position will be responsible for all aspects of custodial and minor maintenance repairs within the assigned school. Cafeteria Manager

Penn Manor School District has an opening for a full-time Cafeteria Manager at Marticville Middle School beginning with the 2018-19 school year.

Health Room Assistant/Nurse, 2018-19 school year

The Penn Manor School District is accepting applications for Health Room Assistants/Health Room Nurse (HRN) to work at Penn Manor High School, effective with the beginning of the 2018-19 school year. The scheduled days are Monday, Thursday & Friday, 7 hours per day, 21 hours per week.  The shift at the High School is 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. with a half hour break.  The pay rate is $13.14 – $16.42/hour with LPN certification; the pay rate is $16.19 – $20.23/hour with RN certification.

Interested applicants should be aware that, if hired, they would be responsible for obtaining and providing the necessary background checks and clearances as well as evidence of a physical and Tb testing within the past 12 months.  LPN or RN License and current/recent working experience in the health care profession are preferred.

Under the supervision of the Certified School Nurse, this position requires the ability to effectively follow oral and written instructions, to work independently (when appropriate), to handle emergency situations and to adjust to changes in the educational environment.   Additionally, the Health Room Nurse must be able to communicate with employees at all levels and maintain a positive attitude with all employees, parents, students, and other individuals utilizing District buildings.  This position requires the ability to effectively utilize student information management systems, Microsoft Word, and other district programs to maintain student health information in accordance with established policies and procedures as well as the ability to apply the required skills within the scope of LPN/RN practice. A current CPR/First Aid training (valid card must be maintained on file at all times).

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid PA Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License

Valid PA Registered Nurse (RN) License

Recent nursing experience, within one year of application preferred.
