School Library Assistant

Starting Salary/Pay: $14.05 per hour

Hours:  Full-Time, 12 month position, M-F, starting times will fluctuate based on school needs and shift requirements-

Health Room Assistant/Nurse, 2018-19 school year

The Penn Manor School District is accepting applications for Health Room Assistants/Health Room Nurse (HRN) to work at Penn Manor High School, effective with the beginning of the 2018-19 school year. The scheduled days are Monday, Thursday & Friday, 7 hours per day, 21 hours per week.  The shift at the High School is 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. with a half hour break.  The pay rate is $13.14 – $16.42/hour with LPN certification; the pay rate is $16.19 – $20.23/hour with RN certification.

Under the supervision of the Certified School Nurse, this position requires the ability to effectively follow oral and written instructions, to work independently (when appropriate), to handle emergency situations and to adjust to changes in the educational environment.   Additionally, the Health Room Nurse must be able to communicate with employees at all levels and maintain a positive attitude with all employees, parents, students, and other individuals utilizing District buildings.  This position requires the ability to effectively utilize student information management systems, Microsoft Word, and other district programs to maintain student health information in accordance with established policies and procedures as well as the ability to apply the required skills within the scope of LPN/RN practice.
