Book Donation Helps Children Understand Alzheimer’s

Home Helpers is a business that sees firsthand how Alzheimer’s can impact family members including children. They recently visited Eshleman Elementary School to read Maria Shriver’s book, What is Happening to Grandpa? to a class of 3rd grade students. Home Helpers donated this book to the Eshleman Elementary library so that families who are experiencing a family member with Alzheimer’s will have a resource to explain the disease to their children. Each of the seven Penn Manor elementary libraries will receive either this book or Still my Grandma by Veronique van Den Abeele.
