At the beginning of the 2010-2011 school year, Eshleman Elementary Principal Anne Kinderwater Carroll challenged the students and staff to try new things during the year. Eager to share what they had tried, the students and staff wrote down their efforts on index cards and turned them in to Mrs. Carroll this week. With nearly 300 cards, Mrs. Carroll found a unique way to display them in the all-purpose room. Some students tried playing a new sport, some tried a new hobby, one student tried sushi, another brussel sprouts, students tried to do better in class and tried to get along with everyone. The lesson learned was that everyone can benefit from trying something new.
