Car Riders – All vehicles picking up a students should have a car tag visible displayed for staff members to see. If the car tag is not displayed, the individual picking up the student(s) may be asked for identification, which does delay the pickup line.  Only individuals listed in Sapphire can pick up students at the end of the day without notification from the parent/guardian. Should you need an additional car tag, please contact the main office at (717) 872-9540.

Transportation Changes

If your student’s mode of transportation is changing for the day, you must complete the Eshleman Daily Transportation Changes / Student Early Dismissal Form by 2:45pm. This applies to a change in the method of transportation, along with an Early Dismissal. This form will allow the office staff to know the pickup date and time.  There is no need to send in a paper note regarding the early dismissal if this form is completed online.  Students leaving early for medical appointments are still required to turn in a note from the doctor or dental office upon their return to school.

Students who are CONSISTENT Car Riders

No students at Eshleman are assigned car riders.  All students are either designated as a bus rider or a walker.  If you plan to pick your student(s) up in our car rider line at the end of the day on a consistent basis, please complete the Eshleman Consistent Transportation Change Form

Safe2Say

Penn Manor School District is participating in a statewide effort to prevent school violence called Safe2Say Something.

The program enables students and staff to anonymously report information about individuals they suspect may be about to hurt themselves or others via a phone app, website or 24-hour crisis center.

To submit a tip or link to the Safe2Say app, click here.

To submit a tip by phone, call 1-844-5-SAYNOW (1-844-572-9669)

Trained Safe2 Say staffers will review the tips and immediately contact school officials and, if necessary, law enforcement, to respond to the information they receive.

Penn Manor has established a team of school staff members to respond to tips. In addition, students and staff will receive training on reporting tips and identifying behaviors that could indicate a student is intent on causing harm.

We encourage students and staff members to use this new tool in reducing school violence.
