The U.S. News & World Report released their ‘2027 K-8 Best School’ rankings earlier this week.
All seven of our elementary schools and middle schools were named to the ‘Best Schools’ list based on student scores on state assessments in math and reading, and socioeconomic status of each school’s population.
Out of 3,514 elementary schools in the state evaluated for the report, LeTort ranked 89th. Eshleman was ranked 153rd, followed by Pequea ranked 327th, Hambright 361st, Central Manor 409th, Conestoga 442nd, and Martic 545th.
All seven elementary schools were within the top 16% of the state.
Manor Middle School was ranked 83rd out of 2,666 middle schools in the state. Marticville placed 93rd in the state.
Both middle schools were in the top four percent of the state.
Earlier this fall, Penn Manor High School was ranked by the U.S. News & World Report as one of the ‘Best High Schools’ in the Nation.
The high school ranked 1,944 out of 17,495 high schools in the Nation, 75th out of 771 high schools in the state of Pennsylvania, and 2nd in Lancaster, Pennsylvania area high schools.
