Senior Matthew Palmeri represented Penn Manor at the All-State Chorus Festival in April.

PMHS student places first in voice part at All-State Chorus Festival

Across the state, top-tiered vocalists from Pennsylvania school districts, gathered at Kalahari Resort and Convention Center to compete in the All-State Chorus festival.

Penn Manor High School student, Matthew Palmeri earned his spot earlier this spring through a series of auditions and competitions.

Throughout the school year, Matthew placed first on his Bass 1 voice part at the District Chorus, Regional Chorus, All-State Chorus, and the All-State re-audition.

Matthew re-auditioned at the All-State festival over the weekend and placed first in the state of Pennsylvania on his Bass 1 voice part! All qualifiers participate in a final re-audition, which determines their overall ranking within the state.

Congratulations, Matthew! What an awesome accomplishment.
