Penn Manor Productions will present the spring musical, The Music Man, March 12, 13, and 14 in the Penn Manor High School auditorium.

Performances are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 12; 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 13; and 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 14. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students. Tickets are available for purchase at the following link.

Comet Classic cardholders and Penn Manor School District staff members can attend the Thursday, March 12 free of charge with a valid Comet Classic card or Penn Manor School badge. Cardholders or staff can select their seats for the March 12 showing at the ticket booth. As a reminder, tickets for the performance have been on sale since February 1, so seats are selected on a first come, first served basis.

The Music Man follows fast-talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill, as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys’ band that he vows to organize — this, despite the fact that he doesn’t know a trombone from a treble clef.

His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian, the librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen by curtain’s fall.

Students from both middle schools and multiple elementary schools are also involved in the performance.

Good luck, students!
