Kindergarten registration for the 2026-2027 school year opens Sunday, February 1. A child is eligible for our half-day kindergarten program if he/she will be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2026.

To ease the transition to kindergarten, all Penn Manor elementary schools offer Lunch & Learn activities from February through May. The program includes story time, a craft activity, and lunch in the school cafeteria. The final Lunch & Learn will be an evening event and is only for children heading to kindergarten in the fall. At the May event, parents can learn more about the kindergarten program and meet their child’s teacher.

With our kindergarten being half-day, some parents need full-day care for their children. Penn Manor partners with the YWCA of Lancaster to offer extended day enrichment for our early learners called WRAP care. This program has limited availability and you must register separately on Wednesday, February 18, 2026* from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at 110 North Lime Street Lancaster, PA 17602.
*Snow make up date is Monday, February 23, 2026 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
