Five high school chorus students pose at the PMEA District 7 Chorus Festival.

Five represent PM in District 7 Choral Festival

Five high school chorus students represented Penn Manor at the PMEA District 7 Choral Festival on January 9 and 10 at Boiling Springs High School.

District 7 includes over 70 public and private schools spanning eight different counties.

The Penn Manor festival singers, Rayn Andreychek, Matthew Palmeri, Kenedi Phelan, Noah Tuel, and Aiden Whitfield, were selected through an audition in October.

Part of the District Festival experience includes a re-audition for the next level of competitive choir, Region V Chorus. Andreychek, Palmeri, and Tuel all qualified and will represent Penn Manor at the Region V Chorus Festival at Warwick High School on February 20 and 21.

In addition, Matthew and Noah ranked within the top spots on their voice part.

Matthew clinched the first place spot for his Bass 1 voice part. This is the second year in a row that Matthew has placed first for Region Chorus. He also placed first during the District Chorus audition in October.

Noah placed sixth on his Tenor 1 voice part.

Congratulations to the five chorus students that qualified and participated in the PMEA District 7 Festival this past weekend.

Good luck to Matthew, Noah, and Rayn as they compete in the Region V Chorus Festival!
