PMHS is looking for adult volunteers for the upcoming STEM Summit, sponsored by Junior Achievement of South Central PA.
The Summit is scheduled for February 24 and 25 and provides hands-on activities for ninth-grade students to explore careers and concepts in science, technology, engineering, and math.
Volunteers have the option of helping one or both days. A background in STEM is not a requirement to volunteer.
The volunteers will collaborate and present one 30-minute activity eight times a day to small groups of students. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided to all volunteers.
