Penn Manor High School field hockey were selected by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA), as the NFHCA Regional Coaching Staff of the Year!
This honor celebrates the coaching staffs that demonstrate exceptional leadership, competitive excellence, and on-field success throughout the fall season. Honorees were evaluated based on overall performance, postseason achievement, and impactful leadership throughout the season.
“This honor is a true reflection of the incredible work ethic and dedication of our entire program — from the coaches to every player on the field,” noted head coach Rachel Suter. “We are deeply grateful to the NFHCA for this recognition. We had a fantastic season, and achieving success while genuinely enjoying the process and each other’s company is the ultimate reward.”
The selection process highlights coaching staffs that have excelled in exceptional team performance, sportsmanship, commitment to student-athlete development, and team leadership.
This prestigious award is only given to 10 field hockey coaching staffs across the 10 scholastic regions in the country.
The coaches receiving this award are Rachel Suter (Varsity Head Coach), Rylee Leakway (Varsity Assistant Coach), Taylor Lefever (JV Coach), Jen Kroesen (JV Coach), and Cassie Townsley (Volunteer Assistant Coach).
Penn Manor field hockey made it to the PIAA State Semifinals with a 21-5-1 record and were PIAA District III 3A Champions.
The following seniors Chloe Hook, Lily Howry, Joelle Kroesen, and Kayla Streets, were members of the LL League All Academic Team.
In addition, Chloe Hook, Morgan Hook, Joelle Kroesen, and Kelby Dings were named First Team LL League All Stars. Ali Smith, Sophia Geiter, and Allison Provanzo were named Second Team LL League All Stars. Molly Hufford received Honorable Mention LL League honors.
