The 33rd annual Education Day/College and Career Expo was held on Monday, November 3 in the high school gym.
Representatives from over 100 colleges, universities, trade schools, businesses and military attended the event.
Prior to the event, students were encouraged to do their own research on the attending businesses and colleges and universities.
“We are so honored to continue Penn Manor’s 33-year tradition of Education Day,” said Nicole Moss, Penn Manor High School’s Career Aide. “This event is a true whole-school effort — students spend weeks in advance researching colleges and companies, practicing interactions and preparing thoughtful questions.”
“Our dedicated staff shows incredible support, even displaying alma mater signs throughout the school and wearing their college shirts,” said Moss. “The main purpose is to showcase the broad range of post-graduation opportunities by offering it during the school day, this ensures every student can explore them.”
Moss stated, “We extend our deepest thanks to the 100+ representatives from colleges and universities, the military, and businesses for taking the time to help our students see the many pathways to success.”
Thank you to the representatives for attending and taking time out of your day to engage with our students. Thank you to our counseling department for facilitating the expo!
