Superintendent Dr. Phil Gale, spent the day visiting the district schools, talking with teachers and students throughout the hallways.
“When students and teachers are in our schools on the first day, their presence makes the new school year start with a lot of excitement and energy.” Dr. Gale said “We look forward to the growth that our students will experience while learning in the classroom and through other activities, as we make it happen this school year.”
Students were welcomed by 29 new professional staff members, a new principal and assistant principal.
Lisa Suydam is the new principal at Letort Elementary school. Kara Eshleman is an assistant principal at the high school.
