Penn Manor FFA named 3-star chapter and National Finalist for 2025 National Premier Chapter Award

Manor FFA named three-star Chapter and National Finalist

Penn Manor FFA was given a three-star ranking in the 2025 National Chapter Award program by the National FFA Organization.

A three-star ranking is the highest that can be received, with less than 10% of chapters nationwide given a ranking from the National FFA Organization.

Manor FFA has also been named a national finalist for the Premier Chapter Award in the Building Communities category for their Program of Activities on their 2025 Mini-THON Line Dance. Only 10 FFA chapters nationwide are selected as national finalists in each of the five award categories.

The team will compete for the title on Wednesday, October 29 in Indianapolis at the 98th National FFA Convention & Expo. During the Expo, they will present and complete an interview detailing the Mini-Thon Dance activity.

Current FFA members provided some additional thoughts about their Chapter’s hard work and accomplishments.

“Being recognized as a National Premier Chapter winner shows that the hard work and dedication of our members, officers, and advisors is truly making an impact on the community. It proves that the time, effort, and passion we put into our chapter is shaping our members into leaders and role models for future students.” Sara Gehr, Class of 2026, Manor FFA Vice President.

“Being recognized as a National Premier Chapter is such an honor because I know how hard my fellow members, officers and advisors work every day to keep our chapter running smoothly. As the chair of the line dance committee and a member of my school’s Mini-THON club, I am very thankful for being a finalist in the Building Communities category.” Lathan Axe, 2026, Manor FFA Sentinel.

“Being a three-star Chapter means to me that we were able to serve our FFA chapter and community to the best of our ability. Being recognized as a National Premier Chapter means that we can be a role model to new and smaller Chapters; just as much as they are role models for us. This distinguished honor proves that we are making a positive impact on our community while carrying out the FFA Mission.” Lillian Walborn, Class of 2027, Manor FFA Reporter.

“Being a three-star chapter and Premier Chapter award winner means so much to me! I feel very honored and proud to be a part of such an amazing team and chapter.”  Katie Charles, 2028, Manor FFA Secretary.

Congratulations to the Manor FFA students and their agricultural teachers for this exciting honor! We are excited to cheer you on in October.
