Manor FFA members earn Keystone Degrees, jackets

Ten senior members of Manor FFA received their Keystone Degrees at the Pennsylvania FFA Mid-Winter Convention, held in January.

To qualify, the students had to participate in five school/service activities outside of the FFA chapter, complete over 25 hours of community service, and work 300 hours in a Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) or invest $1,000 in their SAE project.

The Keystone Degree is the highest state-level award an FFA member can receive.

The new Keystone Degree recipients are Parker Ebersole, Bethany Kramer, Madison Martin, Layne Perry, Ceejay Rettew, Rachel Sensenich, Lincoln Stewart, Derek Thomas, Ethan Todd, and Kayla Wasche.

Also at the convention, 19 first-year Manor FFA members received their FFA jackets through the FFA Foundation’s jacket program. They had to complete an application and an essay about what the FFA means to them.

The jacket recipients are Ashlyn Brenneman, Aaron Charles, Amelia Fetter, Anna Frey, Jozie Gilger, Britten Graham, Logan Harnish, Reagan Herr, Hope Keller, Leann Kneisley, Peyton Markley, Colby Martin, Levi Miller, Chase Perry, Misty Railing, Gracie Shaiebly, Keziah Smith, Natalie Trout and Catherine Wenczel.

Congratulations to these students for their hard work and dedication.
