The students qualified for Regionals after auditioning during the PMEA District 7 Chorus Festival, held at Central York High School. District 7 includes more than 70 public and private schools spanning eight counties.
Three other Penn Manor students also participated in the festival – Madelyn Stern and Dana Raugh (both Soprano 2), and Eamon Helfrich (Bass 1).
In addition, David Ferre was selected via a separate audition process to perform as a soloist for The Heavens Are Telling by Joseph Haydn during the District Chorus concert.
The Region V Chorus Festival will be held March 20 and 21 at Northeast Middle School in Bethlehem Area School District.
Congratulations to these students and their music teacher and choral director, Lauren Ciemiewicz.
