Fifteen Penn Manor seniors have recently been honored with national awards for academic achievement.
David Ferre, James Helm and Gavin Roberts were named National Merit Scholarship Commended Students for being among the 50,000 highest scorers among all students who took the PSAT/NMSQT test in October 2023.
Twelve other Penn Manor seniors have been honored with national academic achievement awards from the College Board based on their test results.
Ethan Addy, Kaylie Boas, Tyler Book, Jordan Chen, Jaden Emmert, Haley Frey, Brynn Noll and Mushna Sabba each received a National College Board First-Generation Recognition Award; and Laura Castillo, Alayna Cintron and Julitza Medina each earned a Hispanic Recognition Award.
In addition, Kayden Geiter received an African American Recognition Award; and Cynthia Stoy earned a First-Generation Hispanic Recognition Award.
The students qualified for the awards by scoring among the top 10 percent of PSAT/NMSQT OR PSAT 10 test takers in Pennsylvania or by earning a score of 3 or higher on two or more AP Exams by the end of 10th grade.
We congratulate these 15 students and wish them continued academic success.
