Four Penn Manor seniors will address the audience when the Penn Manor High School Class of 2024 holds its graduation ceremony Wednesday, May 29, at Franklin & Marshall College.
Commencement will begin at 7 p.m. at F&M’s Alumni Sports and Fitness Center, located on Harrisburg Pike, at the intersection of Race Avenue. F&M personnel will help direct vehicles to parking on site.
The ceremony will be livestreamed on the Penn Manor YouTube channel.
This year’s speakers are valedictorian Cole Troop, salutatorian Suren Clark, Grace Gerner and Grace Hripto.
Cole Troop is the son of Lauren and Keith Troop of Washington Boro.
At Penn Manor, he participated in Quiz Bowl, the Technology Student Association, Mock Trial, MiniTHON, Comet Nation, Tests of Engineering Aptitude, Mathematics, and Science (TEAMS), National Honor Society and Math National Honor Society.
He also was a member of the soccer and tennis teams.
Cole plans to attend Lehigh University to study computer science business, with a concentration in AI and finance.
Suren Clark is the son of Sepideh Yalda and Richard Clark of Millersville.
At Penn Manor, he has participated in Model UN, Mock Trial, Technology Student Association, MiniTHON, Robotics Club, Science Olympiad, National Honor Society, Math National Honor Society and Quiz Bowl.
He also participated in the Wharton Investment Team, Student Ambassadors, Civitas, and Tests of Engineering Aptitude, Mathematics, and Science (TEAMS) .
Suren plans to attend Yale University to pursue a double major in economics/mathematics and physics.
Grace Hripto is the daughter of Tania Maser and Gregory Hripto of Lancaster.
At Penn Manor, she participated in Math National Honor Society and Model United Nations.
Grace plans to study mathematics at Purdue University.
Grace Gerner is the daughter of Mike and Lindsay Gerner of Millersville.
At Penn Manor, she participated in field hockey, lacrosse, swimming, Unified Club and Arts for All Club.
Grace plans to attend Wingate University to study pre-med and play field hockey.
