More than 50 Penn Manor High School student athletes and coaches were honored May 8 during the Senior Sports Awards ceremony in the high school auditorium.
In all, more than 40 awards and scholarships were presented, including Coach of the Year to Larry Bellew (basketball) and Assistant Coach of the Year to Kayla Starry (track and field).
The top awards for the Class of 2023 went to:
- Outstanding Male and Female Single-Sport Athletes — Ethan Benne (basketball) and Tristan Groff (field hockey).
- Outstanding Male and Female Multi-Sport Athletes — Brooklynn Ayala (wrestling and lacrosse), and Dhamir Wesley (football and basketball).
- A. Landis Brackbill Scholar Athlete Awards – Grace Gerner (field hockey and lacrosse) and Kaleb Kabakijian (cross country and track).
- Senior Athlete Leadership Awards – Ciana Suydam (lacrosse) and Drew Lebo (soccer and track and field)
