PMHS to present ‘Beauty and the Beast’ March 14, 15 and 16

    Penn Manor Productions will present the spring musical, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, March 14, 15 and 16 on the Penn Manor High School stage.

   Performances are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 14; 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 15; and 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 16. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students. You can purchase tickets here.

    In addition, a Beauty and the Beast Meet The Characters Tea Party will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 2, in the high school auditorium. Tickets are $5 and must be purchased in advance. Attendees will be able to mingle with characters in costume, enjoy photo opps, and walk through set pieces on stage.

   Based on the Academy Award-winning animated film, the stage version of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast includes all of the songs written by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman, along with new songs by Menken and Tim Rice. 

   This “tale as old as time” is filled with spectacular costumes and sets, and provides a great opportunity to bring the community together for family theatre at its best. Nearly 100 Penn Manor cast, crew and pit orchestra members are involved in this production. 

   This onstage version of Beauty and the Beast will be locked in the Disney vault at the end of the year, so come and see this show before it’s too late!
