Registration for kindergarten students for the 2024-2025 school year opens Monday, February 5. A child is eligible for our half-day kindergarten program if he/she will be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2024.

To ease the transition to kindergarten, all Penn Manor elementary schools offer Lunch & Learn activities from February through May. The program includes story time, a craft activity and lunch in the school cafeteria. The final Lunch & Learn will be an evening event where parents can learn more about the kindergarten program and meet their child’s teacher.

Some parents will need full-day care while their child is enrolled in our kindergarten program, which is a half-day program. Penn Manor partners with the YWCA of Lancaster to offer WRAP care within our district. This is structured child care at one of our elementary schools for the full day. These programs fill up quickly, so be sure to mark the February 20 registration date on your calendar now.
