Penn Manor students selected to perform in District 7 Chorus Festival

Ten Penn Manor High School chorus students have qualified to participate in the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association District 7 Chorus Festival January 13 and 14 at Solanco High School.

The students were selected following auditions that included chorus students from high schools in Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry, and York counties. 

Selected to participate in the festival ensemble were the following students, several of whom placed in the top 10 in their voice or instrument parts: 
                                                                         
Alto 2 – Adah Layton and Carley Weber.

Bass 1 – Kaleb Kabakjian (placed 4th) and Jordan Smith.

Bass 2 – James Helm.

Piano – Nicole Chen (1st place)

Soprano 2 – Kendra Alexander and Madelyn Stern.

Tenor 1 – Andrew Lebo (10th place).

Tenor 2 – Hector Rodriguez (4th place). 

In addition, Caroline Whitfield (soprano 2) and David Ferre (tenor 1) were selected as first alternates for their voice parts.
