Nineteen Penn Manor students selected for County Chorus

Nineteen Penn Manor High School chorus students have been selected to participate in the Lancaster-Lebanon Music Educators Association’s County Chorus Festival in January.

The students qualified to perform in the ensemble following auditions on September 23 that included students from public and private schools in Lancaster and Lebanon Counties.

The festival will be held on January 21 at Lancaster Mennonite High School.

Selected to participate were the following students, several of whom placed in the top 10 in their voice or instrument parts:

Alto 1 – Mary Warner; Alto 2 – Amber Floyd, Carley Weber (7th place), Madison Stringer and Adah Layton (4th place); Bass 1 – Kaleb Kabakjian, Christian Lapp and Jordan Smith (6th place); Bass 2 – James Helm and Matthew Perkins; Piano – Nicole Chen, (1st place).

Soprano 1 – Catherine Repkoe (9th place); Soprano 2 – Kendra Alexander, Elena DiSciullo, Madelyn Stern and Caroline Whitfield (8th place); Tenor 1 – David  Ferre (7th place) and Andrew Lebo (8th place); and Tenor 2 – Hector Rodriguez.
