Slots still available for PreK Counts, Head Start classes in Penn Manor

Several slots are still available for 3- and 4-year-olds to enroll in Lancaster County Thrive to Five program’s Head Start and PreK Counts classes at Penn Manor schools.

The free program provides an early childhood education that emphasizes language, science, art, physical activity and social skills and includes family support services, nutritious meals and health screenings.

Children qualify for the program based on family incomes.

For the 2022-2023 school year, a Head Start/PreK Counts classroom will be operating at Martic Elementary School, and we are hoping to fill a Head Start classroom at Pequea Elementary School.

Classes will be held five hours a day, Monday through Friday.
