Penn Manor honored 26 retirees with more than 600 combined years of service, along with its employees of the year during Employee Recognition Night, held April 12 at Penn Manor High School.
About 100 people attended the event, which included a reception with food and drinks, followed by the recognition of the Outstanding Educators and Employee of the Year and Penn Manor’s longtime employees and retirees.
Chip Froehlich, the district’s delivery truck driver, was honored as the Outstanding Penn Manor Employee for 2021-2022.
Jenna Fisher, Pequea Elementary physical education teacher, and Wendy Letavic, Penn Manor English Language Development specialist, were honored as Penn Manor’s Outstanding Educators for 2021-2022.
This year’s retirees include Cheryl Aucott, Carrie Aukamp, Christine Bachman, Bonni Bauman, Lisa Bitler, Sallie Bookman, Chris Cameron, Bob Chambers, Mary Kay Fair, Shelby Foster, Deb Goodhart, Ann Grosh, Karen Hallett, Mary Jacoby, Theresa Kreider, Maggie Kyper, Mike Leichliter, Heidi Long, Gary Luft, Debbie Lugar, Chris McKnight, Janet Ochs and Lisa Roth Walter.
