Tanger recently presented a $3,500 check to Penn Manor to pay for new books at school libraries throughout the district. Penn Manor applied for the grant earlier this year to help replenish library books that were misplaced or lost during the pandemic.
Monica Trego, Tanger marketing director, presented the check to Martic Elementary School librarian Lori Paules on September 24.
The grant was through the TangerKIDS Grants program, which provides almost $200,000 in funding for special projects, programs and equipment in schools located in the communities served by Tanger stores.
