Penn Manor honors senior student athletes, coaches at awards ceremony

Penn High School senior student athletes and coaches received more than 40 awards at the 22nd annual Senior Athletic Awards ceremony, held May 13 in the high school auditorium.

The top athletic awards went to:

  • Outstanding Penn Manor Male and Female Athletes — Graham Thomas (cross country/track), Jasmine Miller (field hockey/track), Colt Barley (wrestling/football) and Victoria Hook (softball).
  • Senior Athlete Leadership Awards — Amanda Wolf (golf) and Wesley Kendig (swimming).
  • A. Landis Brackbill Scholar Athlete Nominees — Graham Thomas (cross country/track) and Jordan Schucker (volleyball/track).
  • Fackler/Howler Sportsmanship Award — Victoria Hook (softball) and Sebastian Bookmiller (soccer/tennis).

The Coaches of the Year are Eric Urban (swimming) and Amanda Pryzbylkowski (boys/girls tennis). The Assistant Coach of the Year award went to Bob Graybill (boys basketball/softball).

Seventy-three seniors were recognized for earning a varsity letter three times in one sport or at least five varsity letters in their high school careers, and 60 seniors were recognized as Scholar Student Athletes for earning a GPA of 3.8 or greater.
