Marticville MS shifting to remote learning for Jan. 26 & 27

Marticville Middle School is shifting to remote online learning for all students for Tuesday, January 26, and Wednesday, January 27.

The decision was made in response to the recommended framework from the Pennsylvania Department of Education for actions necessary following the identification of active COVID-19 cases in a school building.

No additional schedule changes are planned at this time for other Penn Manor schools.

Marticville students will sign-in to the Google Meet provided by their teacher through Google Classroom and follow the teachers’ expectations for their classes on both days of remote learning.

Regular, in-person classes will resume on Thursday, January 28, unless the school district learns of additional information that would require an extension of the closure to assure the safety of the Marticville community.

In order to meet the PDE requirements, all teachers, staff, and students will not be permitted in the building during remote learning while the school undergoes extensive cleaning.
