Penn Manor welcomes 12 new teachers for 2020-2021

Penn Manor welcomed 12 new teachers for the 2020-2021 school year during New Teacher Orientation, held Aug. 5 and 6 at Manor Middle School.

The new hires, pending school board approval, include:

Penn Manor High School
Amanda Swords, learning support teacher; and Jennifer Elder, Spanish teacher.

Hambright Elementary
Erik Ballard, fifth-grade teacher; and Ay’Shia Gaston, fourth-grade teacher.

Central Manor Elementary
Gabrielle Shemonski, learning support teacher; Trent Soto, fourth-grade teacher; and Lacey Winder, fifth-grade teacher.

Martic Elementary School
Mara Tate, sixth-grade teacher; and Meredith Miller, fifth-grade teacher.

Pequea Elementary
Maxleen Gutierrez, special education teacher; Julia Kepple, special education teacher; and Lauren Walker, second-grade teacher.
