Congratulations to the seven Penn Manor career and technology center students who placed first or second in regional SkillsUSA competitions of technical skills and knowledge, held Jan. 17 and Feb. 14.
Ashley Burkett placed first in the Medical Assisting competition. She attends the medical assistant program at Mount Joy Career & Technology Center.
Shea Lefferty placed first, and Aiden King placed second in the Welding competition. They attend the welding program at Mount Joy.
Frank Pannell was on a team of students that placed second in the Welding Fabrication competition. He is enrolled in the welding program at Mount Joy.
Madison Higgins and Eduardo Contin were on a team of students that placed first in the Health Knowledge Bowl. They are enrolled in the advanced health careers program at Willow Street Career & Technology Center.
Melissa Weaver placed second in the Medical Terminology competition. She attends the medical assistant program at Willow Street.
The first-place finishers qualified to compete in the state-level SkillsUSA competitions scheduled for April 15-17 in Hershey.
