Congratulations to the Penn Manor boys’ soccer team for being named an Academic Award Winner by the United Soccer Coaches.
The 2017-2018 team was one of just 107 boys’ teams nationwide to receive the honor for maintaining a team grade-point average of 3.25 or better.
The Comets easily exceeded that threshold, with an average GPA of 3.6!
“I am very proud of the hard work the boys put in in the classroom,” said head coach Paul Taylor. “ This is a reflection of our core values of discipline, commitment and hard work.”
This is the fourth year the Penn Manor boys’ team achieved the honor, which it also earned in 2013, 2015 and 2016.
