District shares schematic designs for Penn Manor HS

Nearly 40 people turned out, despite the rain, to see schematic design proposals for the Penn Manor High School construction and renovation project Tuesday night.

The district plans to rebuild the high school on its current site beginning in the summer of 2019 in a project that is expected to take three years to complete at a cost of $87 million.

Last night’s presentation focused on the footprint of the school and possible designs for such spaces as the media center, art classrooms/studios, the lobby, corridors and shared classroom/work spaces.

For those unable to attend last night, images from the presentation are available here. PMHS SD Public Meeting v2 4-25-17

In the coming months, look for updates on the project via the district website and Twitter feeds. You also can visit the Penn Manor HS Project Facebook page for updates. Here is the link.

Thanks to all who attended last night!
