PM students participate in Thespian Festival

Three Penn Manor theatre students have been selected to perform in a special production at the International Thespian Festival in Lincoln, Nebraska, later this month. Three other students also will participate in the festival, which runs from June 22 to 27.

Jules Leddy, Abby Geiger and Paul Harrold will perform alongside Broadway professionals in the festival’s International Ensemble. Dani Shaub, Harrison Wallace and Haley Hoffer will participate in festival workshops, auditions and leadership programs.

Dani also qualified to present her theatre marketing campaign from Penn Manor’s fall play, “The Sound of Music,” for national adjudication, having earned a superior rating at the state level.

The festival, organized by the Educational Theatre Association and hosted by the University of Nebraska in Lincoln,  is a week-long immersion in singing, dancing, acting, designing, directing and writing. Events include workshops by theatre professionals, individual and group performances, technical theatre programs and opportunities for students to audition for college admission and scholarships.

Congrats to the participants from Penn Manor!
