Penn Manor High School is hosting a Parents Night on Thursday, January 30, beginning at 6:45 p.m. in the auditorium. The event will begin with the high school administrative team discussing efforts to prepare students for life after high school and how activities throughout the year will assist students in meeting that goal.
Parents then will proceed through their child’s spring semester schedule and hear from each teacher about class expectations and procedures. Students have been asked to complete a schedule to assist parents in finding classrooms and teachers; parents should bring that schedule with them to Parents Night.
Throughout the night, Penn Manor technology director Charlie Reisinger will be available in the library to share information about the 1:1 Student Laptop Program being implemented this week at the high school and to provide information on how parents can view students’ grades and attendance information through Sapphire.
In addition, a representative from the Lancaster County Career and Technology Center will be available in the counseling office to answer questions about CTC programs.
If you have any questions about this event, please contact the high school office at 872-9520, ext. 1809.
