Penn Manor’s School Board President, Dr. Richard Frerichs, was voted President-Elect of the Pennsylvania School Boards Association. Dr. Frerichs has served as Penn Manor’s school board president for the past three years and as vice-president for 10 years prior. Dr. Frerichs is also president of the IU13 board. This is the first time in recent history that a local school board member from Lancaster will serve as president of this statewide organization. Dr. Frerichs will do an outstanding job at PSBA and be able to be a statewide voice for Penn Manor and the other districts in IU 13 as well as for the importance of public education in Pennsylvania.
