Penn Points Reporters Score Top Story Award

2011 Penn Manor graduate Bryan Hess and current Penn Manor senior Sarah Scheaffer were recently awarded the coveted Brasler Prize by the National Scholastic Press Association for their story, “Life has a Different Meaning for Juveniles Tried as Adults.”  The Brasler Prize is given for the Story of the Year. Their entry was chosen from 817 student news stories submitted from across the country. Bryan and Sarah were each presented with a cash prize of $500 as well as a plaque honoring their outstanding work.
