Nearly 370 new and incoming ninth-grade students were welcomed by the Penn Manor High School Link Crew team on Thursday, August 20 in preparation for the 2026-2027 school year.
Attendees participated in a building tour and team-building activities, facilitated by the Link Crew leaders. The ninth-graders had the opportunity to meet new friends, learn about life at the high school, and enjoy lunch in the cafeteria with their peers.
The Link Crew leaders took time throughout the summer to prepare a number of activities and sessions for the incoming ninth-graders to participate in. The activities were chosen as a way to get the students acclimated to life at the high school and make them feel welcome as the year begins.
Throughout the school year, Link Crew leaders will provide ongoing support to the ninth-graders.
