Twelve Penn Manor elementary school students were presented with a Good Citizenship Award by Senator Scott Martin.
The students received a Good Citizenship Award for demonstrating kindness, dependability, respect for others, a positive attitude, service to their school and community, leadership, and an understanding and appreciation for civic responsibility. The program recognizes young leaders who truly embody the spirit of community and character.
The students were nominated for the awards, sponsored by Senator Martin’s office, by their teachers.
Award winners include Aria Troop (4th) and Dylan Butt (5th) from Central Manor; Logan Battillo (4th) and Violet Davis (5th) from Conestoga; Nektarios Firoglanis (4th) and Emma Birch (5th) from Eshleman; Moriah Hanks (4th) and Quinn Fisher (5th) from LeTort; Peral Green (4th) and Kathryn Strosser (5th) from Martic; and Eliza Rhoads (4th) and Mason Babcok (4th) from Pequea.
This is the third year for the program.
