Six Penn Manor High School orchestra students participated in the 2026 LLMEA High School County Orchestra Festival at Palmyra Area School District on January 17, 2026.
The festival consists of top-performing students from 24 schools across Lancaster and Lebanon counties. The students were nominated by their school’s orchestra directors.
There were three performing ensembles at the festival. The Sinfonia is a chamber ensemble composed of students with high scores from the PMEA District 7 orchestra auditions. Philharmonic is a full symphony orchestra composed of students in grades 11 and 12. The Festival Strings are a full string ensemble composed of students in grades 9 and 10.
Janelle Evans represented Penn Manor playing the viola in the Sinfonia.
The students in the Philharmonic ensemble were Tavish Dever playing the violin, Anna Mincemoyer playing the cello, and Claire Mincemoyer playing the violin.
Morgan Milisock played the violin and Anna Szczesny played the cello in the Festival Strings ensemble.
