Five board members sworn in at December meeting

Five Penn Manor School Board Directors were sworn in on Monday, December 1 to serve new terms of office.

Ms. Wert, the most senior holdover board member, administered the oath to the returning board members, Nicki Nafziger and Frederick Herr, along with new members, Jill Kloppmann and Eric Warfel. They will all serve four-year terms on the board.

Additionally, Stephanie Keck was sworn in for a two-year term.

Kloppmann will fill long-time board member, Chris Straub’s seat as he chose not to run for re-election.

She is a Penn Manor alumni and a mother of three Penn Manor graduates and three current Penn Manor students.

Eric Warfel was selected to the board in June to temporarily fill Dell Jackson’s seat, as Dell passed away in May.

Warfel is a father of two Penn Manor alumni.

Keck is filling the seat of former board member Mitchell Sweigart, who chose not to run for re-election.

She is a mother to a Penn Manor alumni and soon to be graduate of Penn Manor.

Following the oath of office, board members elected Joe Fullerton as the school board president and Nicki Nafziger as vice president for the upcoming year.
