World Kindness Day was celebrated by students throughout the Penn Manor School District on Thursday, November 13.
Marticville students marked World Kindness Day with a variety of activities designed to spread positivity and celebrate kindness. Parents generously donated snacks for the “kindness cart,” which peer helpers delivered to teachers.
During homeroom, students watched a short video on The Power of Our Words and reflected on how words can build others up—or tear them down.
At lunch, students picked kindness stickers as a fun reminder to practice kindness daily.
This year’s theme, “Be Kind to Your Mind,” encouraged students to dress in comfortable clothes while taking time to care for themselves and others.
It was a day full of smiles, thoughtful reflection, and community spirit at Marticville!
