Alex DiMarzio joins Central Manor Elementary School as the new assistant principal. DiMarzio replaced Lisa Suydam who is now the principal at Letort Elementary School.
Alex comes to Penn Manor from Lebanon County Career and Technology Center where he was a principal, a position he held since 2023.
“Central Manor is thrilled to have Alex join the team,” said Central Manor Elementary School principal Carly McPherson. “His administrative experience and his background in mathematics will be instrumental to ensure student achievement.”
Alex graduated from Millersville University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in secondary mathematics education. He earned his master’s degree from York College of Pennsylvania with a specialization in Technology Instruction.
Alex received his principal certificate through the Educational Leadership program at York College.
“I want to thank all the students and staff for giving me a big Central Manor welcome during my first day it was unbelievable,” said DiMarzio. “I loved every minute with the staff and students. The day concluded with a student telling me, ‘I appreciate that you came into work today!’ Who wouldn’t love working in such a loving environment.”
Alex lives in the Hempfield School District with his wife, Elizabeth, son, Oliver, and two dogs named Buttercup and Candy.
