The HR Director will provide visionary and strategic leadership to support the Business Manager, Superintendent, Board of Directors, and other administration personnel and staff. Specific responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following: implementation of policies and procedures, management of benefit administration, oversight of record retention for PA Department of Education, resolving HRC, workman’s compensation, and unemployment claims, development of training programs, etc.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in HR Administration with a focus on Management and/or Labor Relations, or other relevant discipline in addition to having PHR/SPHR certification. A Master’s degree with 5-7 years’ experience in human resource administration preferred. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of school code and PA Department of Education Certification regulations. Excellent communication and supervision skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks are necessary.
