Penn Manor High School seniors got a boost to their post-high school plans when members of the Class of 2020 received 156 local scholarships and awards totaling nearly $100,000 during the Senior Awards Ceremony, which was streamed May 21.

The honors included $75,000 in scholarships awarded to 75 seniors through Penn Manor Education Foundation. Many thanks to the Penn Manor community members, organizations and businesses that contributed to all of these local awards.

The seniors also earned outside scholarships and financial aid to continue their education after graduation.

The top recipients of Penn Manor academic scholarships/awards were Rachel Collison, with seven awards; Ashley Seiger and Kaden Peart, with five awards each; and Stephen Marquette and Catherine McMahan, with four awards each.
