Penn Manor honors employees, retirees for 2017

Penn Manor school district honored eight retirees with more than 175 years of  combined service May 2 during the 38th annual Employee Recognition Dinner in the high school cafeteria.

Attendees watched a video presentation of comments by six of the retirees — Louise Aument, Judy Gingrich, Dell Jackson, Kay Kane, Gail Lynch and Konrad Fritz. The other retirees were Denny Coleman and Bob Campbell. Here’s a link to the retiree video.

Also honored Tuesday were 24 Penn Manor employees with 20 or more years of service and the Outstanding Employee and Educators of the Year.

Alex Lagunas, technology support analyst, was named Outstanding Employee for 2016-2017.

Honored as Outstanding Educators were Erik Polaski, a Pequea Elementary second-grade teacher, and Karen Hallett, a Penn Manor High School English teacher.

Employees honored for 20 years include Amy Adair, Cheryl Aucott, Christa Craig, Jenn Ennis, Larisa Garpstas, Tanya Johnson, Mike Leichliter, Lisa May, Mindy Rottmund, Beth Shenenberger and Beth Titus.

Employees honored for 25 years include Deb Goodhart, Ann Grosh, Chris Harzinski, Nancy Kaufhold, Dianne Lowe, Jackie Miller, Ginny Neiss and Chris Pierce.

Employees honored for 30 years include Mary Barnett, Barb Haverstick, Dell Jackson and Mike Ressler.
