Penn Manor students named tops in state in TSA competition

Congratulations to Penn Manor High School students Trey Erisman and Bryce Eberly, the top finishers in the Problem-Solving Competition at the Technology Student Association State Conference, held April 19-22 at Seven Springs Resort.

Kudos, also, to the eight other Penn Manor students who finished in the top 10 in the competition, which included more than 1,800 of the state’s best STEM students competing in a variety of events, from robotics and biotechnology to extemporaneous presentations and architectural design.

In addition to Trey and Bryce, the winners from Penn Manor include:

Kaylee Jackson and Isabella Price-Dubble – Biotechnology, 7th place
Jordan Schucker – Essays on Technology, 8th place

Marticville MS
Grace Fafel  – Logo Design, 7th place; Children’s Stories, 8th place
Sophie Groff  – Materials Process, 9th place

High School
Nicholas Fafel, Max Minnich and Cole Shenk – Technology Bowl, 4th place
Nicholas Fafel – Technology Bowl (written), 9th place
Bryce Eberly, Max Minnick and Nicholas Fafel – System Control Technology, 4th place

Trey Erisman and Bryce Eberly have qualified to compete in the National Technology Student Association Conference June 21 to 25 in Orlando, Fla.
