Penn Manor students earn SkillsUSA awards

Four Career & Technology Center students from Penn Manor were among the top finishers in the recent SkillsUSA District Competition.

Lexie Hershey placed third in the restaurant service competition, and Breanne Swartzentruver placed third in crime scene investigation. Both students attend the Mount Joy campus of Lancaster County Career & Technology Center.

Doug Ferguson placed second in motorcycle technology, and Haley Stubbs placed second in the action skills competition. They attend the Willow Street CTC campus.

The competition was sponsored by SkillsUSA, a national student organization that develops employability, participatory and leadership skills in students enrolled in technical education and work-based learning programs.

Congratulations, Haley, Doug, Lexie and Breanne, for making us Penn Manor Proud!
