Tonight is the final opportunity for parents and students to learn more about Penn Manor High School’s 1:1 Student Laptop Program, which will be implemented school-wide next month. An information session will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the high school library. District personnel will introduce the program, demonstrate the laptops students will receive and address questions. All students and parents are welcome to attend.
Under a pilot of the 1:1 program started in September, about 90 laptops were distributed to students, and best practices learned from the pilot program will be shared at tonight’s meeting. Parental input and questions are an important part of the preparation process, so parents are encouraged to attend, along with their children.
Feel free to contact Charlie Reisinger, district technology director, at 872-9500, or at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions. You also may contact high school principal Phil Gale, at email@example.com .
